Greetings from CEO

The prevention of global warming is an urgent problem the world needs to deal with.

To prevent global warming, targets for reducing the green-house effect (GHG) for each country were established at the COP3 Kyoto Protocol of 1997. Japan is required to achieve an average value for the five year period from 2008 to 2012 of less than 6% of the output of 1990.

In order to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2), which is one of the causes of the GHG, converting from petroleum fuels to biofuels is a major contributing factor. CDM Consulting has been doing research on technology and improvements and products for biodiesel fuel (BDF) and we have sold BDF facilities.

Our facilities use technology that can process any kind of animal or vegetable oil. However, even with biofuel processed from food grade vegetable oil, we anticipate that aside from the environmental and energy resources issues, this may provoke an even more serious issue: the food supply. Hence, our major developments are on supplying BDF using recycled waste vegetable oil and jatropha.

In May 2008, the “Law for Ensuring the Quality of Volatile Oils”(quality assurance law) was amended. Producers of BDF are now required by law to ensure a maximum blend of 5% BDF and obligated to verify the quality for suitable diesel oil. Heretofore, a virtually unlimited variety of product quality has been sold under the name of BDF from coarse grades to non-compatible products.

The quality of the 5% BDF we produce is well above the quality restriction value established in the quality law. Our technology is patented. We are fully confident that even in the future ahead we will not allow ourselves to follow any other company.

CDM Consulting have pride in and feel a responsibility to contribute to reducing the burden on the environment starting with preventing global warming using our products and technology.

Furthermore, we will continue working on the development and supply of technology needed to respond to the various needs of environmental problems in order for nature and people, and nature and society to be in harmony and coexist.
